Pot of GoldEveryone's heard of the legendary pot of gold, and the only way to track one is to follow the sound of a Leprechaun hammering the shoes. They say if you catch one, he'll promise to take you to his pot of gold if you can just keep him in your sights. But these tricky little fellows know just how to get you to look away. Once you do, they've disappeared and your chance of riches is gone! Have you ever wondered what is at the end of the Rainbow? Well legend has it that the Leprechaun’s pot of Gold is hidden at the end of it! We may not have a Pot of Gold to give away for Pot of Gold Bingo, but we will have some fun prizes! We will even have a "jackpot" prize for each game! Advanced Senior Health Class VisitJudy Coven from the Kittanning Senior High School will be bringing the Advanced Senior Health Class in to visit! The Residents love it when they come in. We were told they will be bringing Easter Baskets for everyone! Winter WeatherAs much as everyone is Ready for Winter to be done, you have to admit that we did get some beautiful and some very breathtaking things to look at! 9ot only was the snow gorgeous (once we got past how bad the roads got), but the icicles were some of the largest and most beautiful ever! Although the ones above on the right look small in the picture, they are actually about 12 feet long! We should have some pretty messy areas once all of this starts to melt, but it will be so nice to see the grass again! Bowling ScoresWe have been Keeping Track of the bowling Scores this past month. The top scoring bowlers at this point are Mary Schuller, Linda Schuller, Erma Fennell and Sylvia Wise. Geraldine Oresick is coming in as a close 5th! We will be having our Tournament in May! Eating Green on Saint Patrick’s DayWe will be eating Green at our Saint Patrick’s Day party! Everything from green drink to pickles! We will also do some Saint Patrick’s Day Trivia. All of the Residents will be encouraged to wear green on that day! Everyone wearing green will get a prize and the person with the most green will get an extra special prize! Some Irish music will be thrown into the mix for a great party! Doctor's AppointmentsIf you take your family member to a Doctor appointment, please let us know the date, time and which Doctor so we can have the appropriate paper work ready to make it easier for you! |
