A Special Thank YouWe would like to say a special "Thank you" to one of our Residents ,Thelma Linden and her family for some wonderful gifts! We were given money to buy some things that the Residents would get some enjoyment from! One of the favorite things to do is play Wii. A Karaoke program, Dance program and Trivia game were purchased. Another thing the Residents love to do is eat! An “Old Time” Popcorn Popper was purchased to use on a regular basis! It will be available for Residents to snack on regularly! Thanks again to Thelma and her family for the donation to get these extra things! I am sure they will be used often by the Residents! It was so nice of you to take the time to do this! Thank You for Fresh ProduceThank you to all the families and friends that have sent in fresh produce to the Residents! They have been enjoying it all! They have also enjoyed corn on the cob a few times! New Menu ItemA new item added to the menu is a Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich! |
Pizza DaySince October will be the last month we go out to eat until Spring, we decided to start a pizza day! Pizza will be ordered from various local Pizza places! This will be done on the months we can’t go out due to the weather. It should be a nice treat! Labor Day Picnic September 2The last picnic for this year is for Labor Day! Rick will be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs. We will also have all the wonderful regulars! Looks like the weather will be great! Out to LunchWe will be going to Theresa’s on September 23!
